OGRA publishes each new price on its website (ogra.org.pk, Price Publications) before it takes effect, normally from 00:00 hours. Friday's notification applies to Saturday and Sunday too. This site checks for new publications automatically and updates within minutes.
What Decides Tomorrow's Price
The daily price follows a rolling seven-working-day average of Platts Arab Gulf gasoline prices and the rupee-dollar rate. If international prices fell over the past week, the average usually keeps falling for a few days, and vice versa. Changes in the Petroleum Levy announced by the government can override that trend.
